Happy Sunday everyone!
Today I’m thinking about one of my favorite trips, and places that I have ever been! This past spring break Zach and I went to Asheville, North Carolina and it was an absolute blast. Today I want to share some of my favorite places in the city!
I think the real reason why we decided to go to Asheville was for this pizza. It is truly the best that I have ever had. Of the four days we were in Asheville, two days worth of lunch and dinner came from this amazing restaurant!
The Asheville Outlets
Zach and I spent an entire morning at these outlets. I love shopping at outlets because you truly can get some awesome deals at the stores. During this trip we went to stores like Gap Factory, Banana Republic Factory, The West Elm Outlet, Starbucks, and the Lindt Chocolate Store.
Downtown Asheville
You could walk around downtown Asheville for hours. There are tons of shops, restaurants, and other activities to occupy an entire day. We went into a lot of shops like the Mast General Store, Voltage Records, and Old North.
Biltmore Village
Biltmore village was one of my favorite parts of the entire trip! Once again we got to walk around and enjoy all of the shops and restaurants. Two of my favorites were The Gardener’s Cottage and The Well-Bred Bakery and Cafรฉ.
These doughnuts are absolutely insane, and are definitely worth the line you will have to stand in! We went back the morning that we left for Kentucky because they are just that good!
On our last day in Asheville we went to see everything that Biltmore had to offer. This was an awesome experience, and I definitely think that everyone should see this estate! We got to explore the house, grounds, and conservatory (My absolute favorite!!). We also ate at one of the cafรฉs that are located on the grounds. If you go to Biltmore, make sure to get the ice cream. You’ll thank me later!
Overall I think that Asheville is a great place to go for absolutely anyone! I already want to go back!
If you’ve been to Asheville, North Carolina before, be sure to let me know what was your favorite aspect of the city!
Until next time,
-S
