My Garden Box Review

Happy Saturday friends!

Today is a very special post, as I have just received my first subscription box EVER!

This box is from My Garden Box and Santa Rosa Gardens in Pensacola, Florida. In this post I’ll show you what I got in my first box, and then talk about the options that My Garden Box has for every plant lover!

This first picture is of the box that I was sent.

Here I am, reading the info sheet that came with my plant.

Here is the box and everything that came inside of it! The plant was extremely healthy, and was well packaged in the white sleeve that you see below!

Here are all of the items in this month’s box. I received:

-One Calathea ‘Freddie’ plant in a plastic pot

-One grey, marbled pot and saucer

-Soil, fertilizer, pebbles, and GnatNix

-An info card with care instructions, and steps on how to repot this plant

-A sticker, a butterscotch candy, and a heating pack for the plant

As you can see, Zach was volunteered to repot my new friend Freddie so that I could document the occasion!

Overall, I LOVE this subscription box. Over the past couple of weeks my houseplant obsession has grown exponentially. It’s to the point that I have run out of name ideas, and I’m currently in the process of making a spreadsheet so I can keep the care instructions straight for all of my little, green friends!

The box comes with so much that I definitely think it’s worth every penny! Also, the plant came in the mail and was so healthy. It was definitely the best looking plant that I’ve ordered online. Usually plants will look a little dull after going through the trauma of being shipped, but Freddie seemed as if he hadn’t been affected by it at all!

Here are some screenshots of the My Garden Box website so you can see some more about this company!

I purchased the Plant of the Month box for 6 months in advance! I am already so excited to get the five other plants in my subscription, and to renew after that!

The pricing for the two boxes are:

Plant of the Month:

-Month to Month $21.50 per box

-3 Month Prepay $20.50 per box

-6 Month Prepay $19.50 per box

-12 Month Prepay $18.50 per box

My DIY Garden:

-Month to Month $38.50 per box

-3 Month Prepay $37.50 per box

-6 Month Prepay $36.50 per box

-12 Month Prepay $35.50 per box

I think that this subscription service is perfect for any plant lover in your life. Also, this could be a really fun option for kids to get started with gardening. I know that being a plant parent has helped me learn responsibility and about nature!

If you have any questions about this company I will try my best to answer them! Also, you should check out the My Garden Box website for more information if you’re interested!

Thank you for reading with me! Let me know if you would like to see posts on each plant I get through My Garden Box, or if you would like to see a Houseplant Tour in the future!

I hope that you all have a wonderful day!

P.S. Here’s a little update for you all! Freddie is still healthy and thriving a couple of weeks after I received my box. He even has two new leaves! Check them out below!
